" Who Squeezed My Flower! " ( as oppose to Who Moved My Cheeze)
I have been watching the nightly( rather than daily) the growth and progression of this strange looking flower-'bud' ( Costus erythrocoryne). No idea where my wife got it from. Over the weeks, tiny pale yellow 'tiger-tooth' grew and withered away leaving behind an alternative pattern of black triangles on the spear-head pinkish 'bud'. Just Monday I discovered someone obviously took a liking to this thingie and decided to give it a squeeze at the lower stem leaving behind an irreversible damage to it...
Hey I am as much eager as whoever you are to find out the utimate outcome of the flower - please dont do it again.....OK?!
